Where we are

We are located in the small village of Askrigg, in the heart of Wensleydale, within the Yorkshie Dales National Park. The village of Askrigg lies sheltered beneath the stunning fells of Ellerkin and Askrigg Common towards the top of Wensleydale. Its two and three storey stone houses and cottages line the main street, with the 15th century parish church of St Oswald’s in the centre of the village in the old cobbled marketplace, complete with its market cross and an iron bull ring set into the cobbles. Nearby villages within walking distance include Worton and Bainbridge, both lovely walks.

There are plenty of walks, including ones along the banks of the nearby River Ure and the Askrigg Waterfalls Walk which takes in both Whitfield Force and Mill Gill Force above Askrigg.
In the area there are other attractions like Bolton Castle, Aysgarth Falls and The Wensleydale Creamery.
